Everything you need to know before investing with Yoki Asset Manager.
Who can
invest
with Yoki Asset Manager?
expand_more
Yoki works exclusively with High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs) and Ultra HNIs with a minimum net worth of ₹2 crore. Investors should have prior investment experience and the financial capacity to bear the loss of their invested capital.
What is
the
minimum investment per deal?
expand_more
The minimum investment varies by transaction — typically starting from ₹25 lakhs per deal. Each opportunity has its own minimum and maximum allocation based on total deal size and the number of participating investors.
Is Yoki
Asset
Manager registered with SEBI?
expand_more
Yoki Asset Manager is not currently registered as a SEBI Investment Adviser or Portfolio Manager. We operate as a principal investor facilitating deal-by-deal participation. All investors sign a comprehensive Risk Disclosure Document acknowledging this before any investment.
How is my
capital
protected?
expand_more
Capital protection comes through structure — not guarantees. Every deal has a defined entry price, documented terms, a confirmed exit pathway and complete legal documentation. Investors hold shares or beneficial interest directly — funds are never pooled. However, all unlisted investments carry inherent risk including total capital loss
What
documents
will I need to sign?
expand_more
Every investor completes a KYC form, signs an NDA, a Risk Disclosure Document and a Deal Participation & Co-investment Agreement for each investment. You will also receive a Payment Confirmation, Timely Investor Updates, an Exit Notice and a Distribution Statement at exit.
Can I exit
before
the holding period ends?
expand_more
Unlisted securities are illiquid by nature. There is no guaranteed early exit mechanism. Yoki makes reasonable efforts to facilitate secondary sales if an investor needs liquidity — subject to finding a willing buyer at a fair price. This cannot be guaranteed in advance.
How are
returns
generated?
expand_more
Returns are generated through capital appreciation — the difference between your entry price and exit price at the time of IPO listing, secondary sale or buyback. Yoki does not offer fixed or assured returns. All return scenarios shared are strictly illustrative and not a promise or projection.
What taxes
apply
to my investment?
expand_more
Gains from unlisted securities are subject to capital gains tax — STCG if held for less than 24 months, LTCG if held for 24 months or more. We strongly recommend consulting your chartered accountant for advice specific to your personal tax situation.
How often
will I
receive updates?
expand_more
You will receive formal written Investor Update typically once every quarter or a key event covering the status of your investment, material developments at the portfolio company and a revised exit timeline if applicable. Jay and Jimit are also directly reachable at any time between updates.
What if I
have a
concern or complaint?
expand_more
We have a formal Investor Grievance Policy. Any concern can be raised directly with Jay or Jimit by email or phone. All complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and we target resolution within 15 business days. Your concern is always taken seriously.
